This is how you find your way to Skinnars on Kökar

Whether you come by car, bike, bus or on foot show the connecting ferry will land in Harpanäs.

You can jump into taxi or drive with your own car from the ferry to the center of island.

Turning from the first T crossing right you will get to the chirch, camping area and Antons Gästhem.

The small church in the archipelago is a fabulous place to spend weddings and other family occasions. Combined with the hill of Skinnars and restaurant in Brudhäll you will get a unique combination for your festivities.

When you continue slightly to the left the road will take you to the center Karlby passing by the firestation.

There you have the bank, post office, bakery and its cafe together with the foodstore.

If you pay with credit card from the shop you can get your change in cash if you wish.

You also can order hefty pizzas from the shop and they bring your groceries home for ten euros.

When you turn right from the crossning in the center and sharply to your left from the corner of the red big house you will find at the beach a beton pier that has the gasoline tank and you can fillup if you need. Gasoline tanks you also can find on the camping place and in the Hellsö harbour.

On the right side of the road before the bridge there is the beautiful hotel Brudhäll with its guest harbour and restaurants. From its pier the boat tours leave to the villa in Kjällskär which was often visited by Tove Jansson and it is designed by architect Reima Pietilä.

By the bridge on your left you have a yellowish stony house where you have the school, the library and the community office and an interesting playground for children.

When you continue the road for 4 kilometrer so on the right side of the road you have sign that shows you to your right where it says Österbygge. After driven on this road for 700 meters you are in the yard of Skinnars.
